What this is
If you love making things — videos, articles, updates — Arc lets you build an audience and earn money. People can subscribe to you, tip you for content they enjoy, and watch your premium videos.
Sharing videos
- Short videos (under 60 seconds): use the + Create post button and add a video. It appears in the feed like any other post.
- Long-form videos (60 seconds or more): go to Creator dashboard → + Upload video. These appear on your profile's Videos tab and get their own page.
To upload a long-form video:
- Open Creator dashboard (from your profile) and tap Upload video.
- Choose an MP4, MOV or WEBM file (up to 100MB).
- Add a title and description.
- Tick Subscribers only if you want it to be premium — non-subscribers see the first 30 seconds, then are asked to subscribe.
- Tap Publish video.
Earning money
- Subscriptions: viewers can subscribe to you for £4.99/month. They get access to your premium videos. Your subscriber count shows on your videos.
- Tips: anyone can tip you on a video (or other content) using Arc Credits. Pick £1, £2, £5, £10 or a custom amount — it goes straight to your balance.
- Premium videos: mark a video as subscribers-only to reward the people who support you.
Your creator dashboard

Common questions
How much does Arc take? You keep your tips and subscription income minus Arc's standard platform fee, paid out through Earnings.
What file types can I upload? MP4, MOV or WEBM, up to 100MB.
What's the difference between short and long videos? Short (under 60s) go in the feed. Long-form (60s+) live on your profile's Videos tab and can be premium.
How do people pay to subscribe? Securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay — handled by Stripe.
Troubleshooting
- My video won't upload — check it's under 100MB and an MP4/MOV/WEBM file.
- No thumbnail — Arc grabs a frame automatically; if it can't, your video still uploads.
- I can't see tips — tips arrive as Arc Credits; check Account → Credits.
- Someone can't watch my premium video — that's expected: they see 30 seconds, then need to subscribe.
