Dating on Arc is a private space, kept completely separate from the rest of Arc. Your dating profile, your likes, your matches and your dating messages never appear in the main feed, search, or your normal inbox. Only other people who have turned on Dating can see you here.
You must be 18 or older to use Dating ā Arc checks this from your date of birth.
Arc Dating is a subscription product. Before you can see any dating content you need an active plan:
Tap Dating in the sidebar, choose a plan, and pay securely by card. After subscribing you read a short safety briefing, then you are in. Cancel any time.
You can look around Arc Dating before subscribing. You will see real profile cards with the name, age and location, but the photos are blurred. As soon as you tap Like or any action, we show you the plans so you can subscribe and connect. If there are no profiles yet, you will see a welcome screen inviting you to be one of the first, with the Arc Dating and Arc Dating Premium plans. Founder accounts see everything without subscribing.
If you subscribe to Arc Dating or Arc Rishta, you can boost your profile for 24 hours so more people see you. Tap Ā£5 Boost on the boost card near the top of the Dating page. It is a one-off Ā£5 payment, separate from your subscription, and you can buy it as often as you like. Once active, the card shows the time your boost runs until.
Dating opens straight onto a browse experience, never a form. At the top you have a filter bar:
If you have not set up your own dating profile yet, a slim Set up your profile prompt appears at the top of the browse page (never a full-page takeover) so you can add photos and a bio whenever you are ready.
Dating uses a card by card browse. See one profile at a time, then Pass or Like. If you like someone who already liked you, you match and a conversation opens in your dating inbox. Your first messages are text only until they reply, and there is a short limit on unanswered opening messages to prevent pressure.
Dating is 18+ only. When you activate Dating you must first tick a mandatory box confirming: _"I confirm I am 18 years of age or older. I understand that providing false information is a violation of Arc's Terms of Service and may result in permanent account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities."_ The Activate Dating button stays disabled until you tick it, and your confirmation is recorded. Arc also checks your date of birth. Members under 18 see Dating in the sidebar but it is greyed out and labelled Available at 18 ā it cannot be opened until they turn 18.
Dating is for people aged 18 and over only, and Arc checks your date of birth. Before you start, you read a short dating safety screen and acknowledge it once.

Can my friends/family on Arc see my dating profile? No. Dating is completely separate. Nobody sees you here unless they've also turned on Dating.
Will dating show up in my normal feed or messages? Never. Likes, matches and dating messages stay inside Dating.
What if I turn Dating off? Your profile is hidden immediately. If you come back, your matches are still there.
Who can use it? Only people aged 18 and over.
Every Dating page has a small Exit button fixed in the bottom-right corner. Tapping it takes you straight to your home feed and does not leave the Dating page in your browser history, so you can leave quickly and privately at any time.
