Find help fast, adapted to your country, whenever you need it.

The Safety Centre brings together everything you need to stay safe on Arc and to get real world help. It is always one tap away and you never need an account to use it.

What you will find

  • Find support near you. Choose your country and see free, confidential helplines for domestic abuse, women's safety, mental health, LGBTQ+ support and young people. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number, shown at the top of the list.
  • How Arc protects you. Plain English explanations of who can join, who can message you, how your privacy works, and how we verify that everyone is 18 or over.
  • Block, restrict and report. Quick links to the tools that put you in control.

If someone else manages part of your account

Sometimes a family member or business partner is given access to help manage part of your account — for example a wali or a manager on a Rishta or business profile. If you ever need that access to stop, you can end it, and you can do it in a way that leaves no trace and never tells them you did it.

  • Go to thearcsocial.com/safety — from any device, including a friend's phone or a library computer. Nothing needs to happen on your own phone.
  • Choose the person and end their access.
  • It happens as part of Arc's routine verification reviews. Arc reviews every manager and wali permission on a regular schedule anyway, so access ending looks completely ordinary. The person is only told the same thing everyone is told — a routine review ended their access — and never why or when it was decided.
  • The change takes effect at an unpredictable point over the following few days, so it cannot be connected to any one moment. There is no confirmation screen, no entry in any history, and no notification to you.

This is safe to explain openly, because the protection is not that the button is hidden — it is that the outcome is identical to Arc's normal process. Someone can read exactly how this works and still never know whether you used it.

Quick exit

On the Safety Centre and on dating and matrimonial, a red Quick exit button sits in the corner. Tap it to leave Arc instantly for a neutral website. You can also press the Escape key twice. It tries to clear the page from your browser history so the Back button will not return you here.

Countries covered

The directory currently includes local services for the United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Australia, United States, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Russia, South Africa, Singapore and Malaysia. If your country is not listed, use your local emergency number and the mental health lines shown for the nearest region.
