Manage your account, privacy, safety, notifications, and your data.
Your Settings are where you control everything about your Arc account. Open them from the sidebar. Settings are grouped into clear sections so you can find what you need quickly.
Update your full name, username, bio, profile photo, and home location. Your phone number is shown masked, and changing it requires a new verification code. Your date of birth is shown but cannot be changed after your account is created, to keep everyone's age accurate and safe.
Choose who can see your profile, who can message you, and who can find you in search (Everyone, Followers only, or Nobody). You can also control whether your location shows on your profile and whether others can share your posts.
Turn notifications on or off overall, and fine-tune them per type: messages, new followers, orders, bookings, events, jobs, fundraiser donations, creator tips, and Arc Credits.
See and manage your blocked and muted accounts, and review reports you have made. When you block someone, they cannot see your profile, find you, see your posts, or message you, and your existing conversations are hidden from both sides.
Arc's interface is available in many languages. Choose yours in Settings → Language, and add up to three languages for your feed (English is always on).
Right now, only English is fully translated. Every other language, including Panjabi, is marked Partial: the core navigation and buttons are translated, and anything not yet translated shows in English so you never see a blank or a wrong label. You will see a small grey Partial badge next to each language, and a one-time notice the first time you switch to a partial language:
> Some content may appear in English while we work on the full translation.
You can dismiss that notice and it will not show again.
Arc is built by its community. If you speak one of our languages fluently and want to help translate Arc, we would love to hear from you. When a partial language is selected, Settings → Language shows a "Help us improve" section with a contact link, or email translations@thearcsocial.com directly.
Can I change my date of birth? No. It is fixed after signup to prevent age fraud. Contact support if it was entered incorrectly.
What happens when I delete my account? It is scheduled for deletion in 30 days. Sign back in before then to cancel. After 30 days it is permanent.
How long does a data download take? Up to 30 days. You will get an email with a link that works for 7 days.
Your profile photo and banner are always uploaded from your device. Arc does not use image web links anywhere.
The same file upload applies across Arc: shop products, event covers, article covers, fundraising covers and Hub banners are all uploaded, never pasted as a link.
