Ventures & teams on Arc

Group everything you run under one venture, and bring in a team to help.

What this is

A venture is a business or project you run on Arc — a shop, a bookings page, an events organiser, a fundraiser, and so on. Ventures let you organise what you run and, importantly, invite a team to help manage it with different levels of access.

Creating a venture

1. Go to My Ventures (in the sidebar).
2. Tap ＋ Add venture.
3. Give it a name, choose its type (Shop, Bookings, Events, etc.), add a logo and description.
4. Tick "Hide my personal profile connection" if you'd like the venture to be anonymous (it won't be linked publicly to your personal profile).
5. Tap Create venture.

Your ventures appear on your My Ventures page, each with a one-tap link to its dashboard.

Your team

Open a venture and tap Team to invite people and set what they can do.

Inviting someone

1. On the Team page, enter their Arc username and pick a role.
2. Tap Invite — they'll get an invitation.
3. They accept from their Venture invitations page.

Roles

• Owner — full control, including billing and deleting the venture.
• Admin — everything except billing and deleting.
• Manager — create and edit content, manage orders and bookings.
• Staff — limited access to what you grant.
• Read only — can view, but not change anything.

You can change someone's role or remove them anytime from the Team page.

Accepting an invitation

When someone invites you, open My Ventures → Venture invitations (or tap the banner) and Accept or Decline. Once you accept, the venture appears in your list with your role.

Common questions

What's the point of a venture? It groups a business you run and lets you add a team with different permissions — instead of doing everything from one personal account.

Can I keep a venture anonymous? Yes — tick the anonymous option when you create it, and it won't be publicly tied to your personal profile.

Who can invite people? The owner and admins.

Can a team member see everything? Only what their role allows — read-only members can't make changes, staff only do what you grant.

Troubleshooting

• My invite didn't send — check the username is correct and that you're the owner or an admin.
• I can't accept an invitation — open My Ventures → Venture invitations.
• I removed someone by mistake — just invite them again.
• I don't see the Team button — only owners and admins can manage the team.
