Hub Terms

Version 1.0 · Effective 24 July 2026 · Arc Social Ltd

1. Who this applies to

Anyone creating or administering a Hub on Arc.

2. Hub types

Places of worship and registered charities globally are permanently free. Commercial Hubs, educational institutions and professional networks pay the Hub Standard subscription.

3. Charity verification

A registered charity number from any country's charity register is required, verified by an admin within 48 hours. Misrepresentation of charity status to obtain a free Hub is fraud and will be reported to relevant authorities.

4. Hub owner responsibilities

Enforce the Community Guidelines within your Hub, moderate Hub content, respond to safety reports within 24 hours, maintain accurate Hub information, and not use the Hub for prohibited activities.

5. Prohibited Hub activities

Facilitating illegal activity, recruiting for harmful organisations, selling prohibited items, spreading coordinated misinformation, and impersonating official organisations.

6. Hub sponsorship

Commercial sponsorship must be clearly disclosed to Hub members with a "Sponsored" label. Undisclosed sponsorship is a breach of these Terms and of the CAP Code.

7. Hub data

Arc owns the platform infrastructure. Hub owners do not own member data. Member data is governed by Arc's Privacy Policy.

8. Suspension and removal

Arc may suspend or remove Hubs that breach these Terms without notice in cases of serious violations. Notice will be given for minor violations.

9. Liability

Hub owners are responsible for their Hub community and any harm arising from inadequate moderation. Arc is not liable for content posted within Hubs.
