Professional verification

Show people your professional background is real.

Professional verification adds a verified badge to your profile that tells people your stated profession has been checked. It is optional and helps build trust when you offer services, hire, or share expertise.

What it costs

Professional verification is 49 per year.

How it works

1. Go to Settings and open Verification, then choose Professional.
2. Tell us your professional field and upload a supporting document, for example a registration, licence, or proof of employment.
3. Pay the annual fee. Your card is authorised now and charged when we approve.
4. Our team reviews your application. Most are reviewed within a few working days.
5. When approved, your verified badge appears on your profile.

Where the badge appears

Once approved, your verified badge appears next to your name on your profile, and a smaller version appears next to your name on your posts and in search and explore results, so people can see you are verified wherever they meet you.

What the badge means

The badge means we checked a document supporting your stated field at the time of approval. It is not a guarantee of quality and it is not financial, legal or medical advice. Always use your own judgement.

Renewals and removal

Verification lasts one year. We remind you before it expires. You can cancel any time in Settings, and we can remove a badge if the information turns out to be false.

Common questions

Do I need this to use Arc? No. It is entirely optional.

Can businesses get verified too? Business and organisation accounts have their own verification during upgrade. Professional verification is for individuals.
